How does this work?
The winner will enjoy the same treatment as a paying client of DigiPlug. Where we have an initial discovery online call with the client to discuss their needs and look and feel, as well as all the information we need from them.
The client will have up to 10 changes to each of the drafts that we will be presenting to them after we’ve worked through all the information provided by the winner/client.
The winner/client will have the opportunity to approve the final design before it goes live.
How do I sign up for a retainer package?
All packages are subject to a minimum retainer period of three months. You can let JD know which package you’d like and he will generate the invoice and make the necessary arrangements with you. There is a standard one-pager retainer agreement that needs to be signed by the client.
How do you spend hours allocated?
We will reach out to your allocated contact person at the start of the new month or when you have started your retainer to give us an indication of how you’d like us to allocate your given time.
What happens if I join in the middle of the month?
The full price will still be invoiced and you will still be able to enjoy the full benefits of your retainer.
Why should I sign up for a retainer package?
Our ad-hoc hourly rate for website changes without an active retainer package in place is R800/hour.
If you sign up for a retainer it allows you with benefits like website monitoring, certain scans and discounted hourly rates.
What happens if I need additional hours beyond the retainer package?
Seeing that we keep track of hours spent on each client, the process will work as follows:
1. We will reach out to you when your allocated time limit is almost complete
2. We will ask you if you’d like to have us allocate more time this month or move it to next month
3. If you need more time allocated to the current month we will invoice you for the difference between your retainer amount and the extra hours spent according to your package’s hourly rate
Do I get any reports?
Yes, we will supply you with a time-tracking report with itemized tracking within the first three business days of the new month.
What happens to time not spent each month?
Unfortunately, time not spent each month cannot be accumulated and allocated to the following month. Nor will it be refunded back over time in any way for any reason.
How does the invoicing work?
Seeing that we are spending our own time and resources, we send invoices for the month in advance and not for the month that has passed. So, you will receive an invoice within the last week of each month for payment before or on the last business day of the same month.
What if I'd like to cancel?
We expect all outstanding invoices to be brought up to date and a 30-day notice of cancellation in writing.
What happens when I missed a payment?
We will not be able to render any services until your invoices are all up to date.
